Hey there,

I recently updated to MacOS 12.3. I'm experiencing issues with my 5700XT GPU not working properly. The first clue was the glitched background images. Then I tried loading a 4K Youtube video and it could only playback at 10-15fps, then proceeded to crash my system. Others are experiencing issues and some may not even be able to boot properly at all depending on their radeon GPU.

Before upgrading to 12.3, my system was working fine. Hopefully a fix will be available soon. If anyone comes across a fix, please post it. Thanks!

Thanks! It seems to have worked. The Geekbench metal score is proper now. Changing from 52545 to 76855, which is proper for a 5700XT GPU. So I've been told. I can smoothly play 4k footage again.

I'm still encountering the glitched backgrounds/wallpaper on the desktop (correction... this is fixed). If you happen to come across a fix for that, let me know. but that's a minor problem. I just need to switch it to a jpg background. Only HEIC format backgrounds tend to glitch.
