It's adding a lot of:

  • undesired HTML
  • big stylesheets
  • useless JS (Anchor.js) served by a 3rd-party (Cloudflare), for a feature that must be static HTML (for accessibility and efficiency)

The HTML is overly backwards-compatible (which is nice, except for the missing semantic HTML)

Once the rewrite is done, I must add .nojekyll
