Is this library using the most recent Perplexity AI models? If not, how to define model(s) to be utilized?

Hi,

Yes, the toolkit is configured to use the latest Perplexity models. Specifically, for "Chat" mode, it defaults to using sonar-medium-chat, and for "Search" mode, it defaults to sonar-medium-online.

If you're looking to use a different model, you can easily configure this in the wrapper or via the CLI. For example, to use the mixtral-8x7b-instruct model, you can set it in the wrapper like so: model="mixtral-8x7b-instruct", or via the CLI: --model "sonar-medium-chat".
