During the scan of a media, an error message appears each time a filename including accented characters is met (for example "é", "à", "ê").
When the scan is over, the filenames appear without those accented characters in the catalog (example "Fichier vrifi" instead of "Fichier vérifié"

This is a problem with CDcat, not snap. So I can't help here.

The last published version of cdcat is 2.3.1 (08/2013).
The "snapped" version of cdcat is 1.8 (02/2012), wasn't it possible to publish a more recent version?
There might be a good reason, but with an older version we lack the more recent bug fixes.

Anyway, encapsulating oldies with their libs in a snap package is a nice project.
