Dear Firemote Developers,
I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding work you have achieved with the Home Assistant Firemote integration. I am particularly gratified that one of my previous feedback suggestions – the integration of remote control functionality within Home Assistant – has been successfully implemented by your team. This is a testament to your responsiveness to user feedback and commitment to enhancing the user experience.
I have developed an Android TV application, "Pooya TV," for personal use within my family. I have not submitted and do not plan to submit this application to the Google Play Store.
I am eager to explore the possibility of dedicating a specific button on the Firemote to launch this application.
I understand that direct support for 3rd party apps may not be currently implemented. However, I would greatly appreciate it if this feature could be considered for future development. I believe that enabling dedicated button support for 3rd party Android TV applications, not just my own, would significantly enhance the user experience and expand the versatility of the Firemote integration for a wider range of users.
