Is there a way to tap into the basename/filename manipulation features from CWL/WDL from janis?
I know about the built in string formatting, but I'm looking for way to extract a sample id from a filename, which built in into both CWL and WDL.
Any ideas?
Thanks
M

Currently there isn't a way to do this, but it's intended to be an operator in #8, similar to how WDL requires a function from the standard library to perform.
