Unable to install UML designer on Eclipse 2018-12 using update site

I installed Sirius from the market place

After restarting Eclipse, I attempted to install the UML Designer 9.0.0 into Eclipse using the update site https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/obeo-umldesigner-releases/9.0.0/repository/ and got the following result:

If I click the show original error and build my own solution I get:

The feature group

org.obeonetwork.dsl.uml2.core.runtime.feature.feature.group

does not reside in this update site. On the [UML Designer download page] (http://www.umldesigner.org/download/) under Latest Release there is a set of links for individual platforms packages as zip files. If I download the package Download UML Designer 9.0 for Win64 and look inside the zip file, the feature group

org.obeonetwork.dsl.uml2.core.runtime.feature.feature.group

is actually provided. This means that if I install the UML Designer using the zip package, I should have no problems but this does not appear to work using the update site. What I cannot understand is why this has not been seen by anyone? Could it be that everyone until now has only used the zip file and I am the first one to use the Eclipse update site? Does this not get tested?

Having this same issue, the first thing I notice is my eclipse version is is 2018-09 (4.9).
When I download the zip version and try to launch it using my same workspace it complains that it was written for a NEWER version of eclipse. My best guess is that UMLDesigner doesn't work for SimRel, which is perhaps why it says requires 'org.obeonetwork.dsl.uml2.core.runtime.feature.feature.group 0.0.0' which is definitely not a real version.
