setting room temperatures with REST api

Hi,

I could get the values e.g. with states/number.wh_heizkreis_raumsolltemperatur_absenk but trying to set it, just seems to set the visual element for a short time and then it is resynched with the actual internal value.
How can I use REST to actually set the target temperature value with a REST command? Example with curl or python requests would be appreciated.

i will try to reproduce the behavour you described.

Why would you want to do this via REST or python and not just use HomeAssistant automations?

Because yet I do Not have a complete setup working within Home assistant. And I don't know yet how to write a Python homeassistant Automation...
But as this seems work really Well with the Heizkurve I'm wondering why this works different for room Temperatures.

How do you try to set the value? With the slider in the UI?
It works as intened for me.

Can anyone else confirm this issue?
