git remote add upstream https://github.com/OData/Extensions.git
- Create a branch for the new changes
git checkout -b {branch_name}
where branch_name uses the following naming conventions. fix/{issue-number}-title for bug fixes. feature/{issue-number}-title for feature branches. - Make code changes and add test cases
- Test the changed code locally to make sure they pass
- Commit changed code to local repository with clear message
- Rebase the code to upstream via command
git pull --rebase upstream master
and resolve conflicts if there is any then continue rebase via commandgit pull --rebase continue
- Push local commit to the forked repository
- Create pull request from forked repository Web console via comparing with upstream and add the ready for review label.
- Complete a Contributor License Agreement (CLA), refer below section for more details.

and resolve conflicts if there is any then continue rebase via commandgit pull --rebase continue
