Use Arduino Uno with RFID reader MRFC522 as HID devices

Hello,
For a project, I would to build a HID Device based on the RFID Reader MRFC522 together with an Arduino Uno. I didn't see the MRFC522 in the supported devices and thus was wondering, if this would be possible? I have read that it would be easier to use an Arduino Micro for this purpose. I will also try it with the Arduino Micro but I would also be interested if it could be done with the Arduino Uno =)
