Hi, I'm sorry to submit this issue here, as it has nothing to do with this repository (I just noticed it had recent activity)
We have this open issue:
NaturalHistoryMuseum/pylibdmtx#51
and even a fix for it in this PR:
NaturalHistoryMuseum/pylibdmtx#85

But there's no activity or responses on the repository. Could you ask someone with merge-rights from NaturalHistoryMuseum to have a look at it, to get it merged in?

Hi @jepperaskdk - I'm really sorry, I only just saw this issue (this repository is also only sporadically active).
I don't personally know much about that repository but I do have merge rights so I'll take a look!
