Context: We have been asked to help with the migration of the Mozfest plaza backend from its current state (hosted by external vendor Newcastle University/Open Labs) to our MoFo backend.

The Mozfest team is working with an external developer (Rob Anderson) to help get the plaza set up for next years Mozfest (starting March 2024) and we need to have the backend migrated by then.

It is currently hosted using DigitalOcean and we are investigating if we can also set up our own DigitalOcean account to make migration easier, however if it doesn't get approved in time we will have to use another service (AWS/GCP)

DigitalOcean RRA Bugzilla ticket

Rob can potentially do some of this DevOps work himself (if he can't do it all we will need to enlist a DevOps contractor) but either way we need to document what needs to be done in order to complete this migration successfully.

Please use this ticket to identify what needs to be done in regards to migrating the Mozfest plaza backend.

Timeline: Need to have documentation complete by Jan 2024 to ensure March 2024 launch
