When saving a project, the only possible location is /home/pietrom/snap/modelio/20/modelio/workspace/ (Linux version).
How can I save the model in my own project directory?
In the menu, there is only the Save option, no Save as....
There is no File/Open command, so even if I manually move my project from the default directory to a different one, I cannot access it.
I need to be able to store the project specification in my project directory, and the resulting output in an external directory (out-of-source like).
Modelio Version 5.4.01
Build: 202312071609
System: linux (6.11.0-8-generic) - Ubuntu 24.10
Architecture: x86_64

You are right there is any "Save as..." or "File/Open" entry under Modelio.
But in the Help>Modelio Modeler>Handy tools>Command line Options, you will find the description of the -workspace workspacePath options. This can be use to open Modelio in your project directory or any other directory than the default one.
