We do plan to support these devices, but do not currently have an ETA for that support given that both the new Edge browser and WinUI3 do not yet ship to production on Xbox/Hololens. We'll likely follow a similar roadmap as WinUI3 for these devices (and you can see their roadmap at https://github.com/Microsoft/microsoft-ui-xaml/blob/master/docs/roadmap.md). When we do have an update on timeline we will definitely share it here, but unfortunately we do not have something more specific to share yet. |
Thanks, that roadmap link is helpful. I look forward to Hololens 2 support and will be keeping an eye on this. I sell a Unity library called 3D WebView, and many of my Hololens customers are asking for WebView2 support. |

I am rebuilding a UWP using React.js and I hope I'll be able to use WebView2 in UWP to wrap the content and replace my old UWP app. Looking for an actual release to this platform... But WinUI 3 is not coming soon on UWP. Could it be possible to support WebView2 on WinUI 2.x? |
