Issue description:
When the shield generator is initially activated, using either a shape card or template blocks, no shield blocks appear. Instead, in all the places where there should be shield, ghost blocks appear: no block is present, but placed blocks immediately vanish and trying to move through the space results in glitchy, stutters resistance. However, if any of the settings in the projector GUI relating to the appearance of the shield (ie color, shield texture, light transparency, etc) are changed, the shield blocks will appear and function correctly.

This glitch occurred on a multiplayer server, and some other users were able to see and interact with the shield blocks without issue. Thus it's likely something client-based.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Join a multiplayer server
  2. Place down and power a shield generator.
  3. Set up a shield design and activate the generator.
  4. The shield area will be filled with ghost blocks.
  5. Open the shield projector GUI, and change one of the settings in the bottom left.
  6. The shield will now appear and function normally.

Versions:

  • Minecraft: 1.18.2
  • Forge: 40.1.47
  • CompatLayer (only if on Minecraft 1.10 or 1.11):
  • McJtyLib: 1.18-6.0.14
  • RFToolsBase: 1.18-3.0.8
  • RFToolsBuilder: 1.18-4.0.12

Possibly incompatible mods and versions: none that I know of

Relevant logs, if any: N/A
