A 'quick help' submenu in the 'Help' section would be useful.
It would show a list of common hotkeys. (prev/next song, prev/next visualizer, escape/enter/arrows to navigate menus, +/- for volume, etc.)
Quick help should be accessible by hitting 'H', which would open the menu and have 'Quick Help' selected, just as if the user had hit escaped and had selected that menu item themselves.
When a new program instance is launched, the user should be able to see that they can hit 'H' for quick help:
When starting up from scratch (no audio file running) the 'waiting for file' window should include a "Press H for Quick Help" prompt.
When starting up with a file (open with, etc) a single line of grey text should be visible for a few seconds that says something to the effect of "Press H for Quick Help", probably in the top row of the visible screen. Any further input that modifies the screen (display debug, opening menus, etc) should hide that.
