That is a hard one. Basically you need to have a complete field model to reason about this. But probably in practice one is more interested in some form of "nominal" gradient strength. That one is easy to define for certain scanners like the Bruker one but very hard to define for single-sided scanners.
I know. The MDF specification is flexible but hard to fulfil in that case. And I don't know how to get the data at the moment. The actual gradient is not defined anywhere. Especially not with Kolibri since the FFL is not even encoded in the sequence yet.
