Is it possible to run a Jamf Inventory Update the moment a user decides to defer?
this would update the extension attribute and the information in Jamf would be up to date.
Currently the user can defer but without the Inventory update the information for soft/hard/focus deferral counter doesn't get updated.

Do you not inventory daily?

Why would you need the information in Jamf more than once a day?

I have another reason for wanting this.

Using smart groups I add an Install Now workflow to Jamf Self Service once the update is ready to install. If a user chooses to defer for say, a day, but then later thinks "oh, I can install it now", I want them to have the option to run it when they choose and not have to wait for the next Super popup.

This requires a jamf recon to populate the smart groups so that the Install Now is made available in Self Service as soon as possible.
