@HiKay How to modify? |
@HiKay Glad to see this happening! |
Comic Sans, out of respect, should be the only one that's not available ;) |
Any update? Hoping the same method will work on High Sierra |
Just subscribed to this thread, totally wanna see support for custom fonts as well! Thanks for all the hard work! |
Another font alternative here, https://github.com/jenskutilek/FiraSystemFontReplacement |
I'm still investigating in the best way to allow custom font choices. For now, the latest version of macOSLucidaGrande (2017.11.10) has added support for macOS High Sierra and includes an updated UI for font switching. Download macOSLucidaGrande for macOS High Sierra (2017.11.10) |
I want to use Avenir Next with High Sierra, is there any way I can do this myself perhaps by using some of your code? |
@sampotts , you might wanna check this out jenskutilek/FiraSystemFontReplacement#44. Based on my experience, I have to build the font on the target mac. I can't just copy the "transformed and renamed" font from one machine to other machines. Dunno why... |
I know you said no ETAs on this, but it's been a year since then. Any update on this? |
I'm curious if this app will ever allow custom fonts besides Lucida Grande? Is there any documentation on how to port fonts for macOS Sierra? I ported fonts before for iOS and wouldn't mind doing the hard work myself, not being able to use my own font in Sierra is why I'm sticking with Yosmite for the time being.
