Notifications manually marked as read should be immediately hidden from the inbox instead of relying on a page reload

Describe the feature you'd like

Currently, if you click the checkmark in your inbox to mark a notification read, it will stay in your inbox until you refresh the page. I propse that the notification should be moved out of unread as soon as you click on the checkmark.
