Haven't looked behind the scenes yet, but it looks like Leaflet.draw doesn't do drawing on iOS on a (simulated) iPad or iPhone, on the demo page.

Yeah touch is not currently supported :( It is quite a requested feature, however to do it nicely would require a decent time investment.
