Drop support for model simulation configuration files in INI format in favor of JSON

Description

• Due to the restructuring of the model simulation configuration files into JSON format, the expanded configuration options may not be fully compatible with INI files;
• Consequently, support for model simulation configuration files in INI format is being discontinued in favor of JSON.

Solution

• Remove support for model simulation configuration files in INI format;
• Update related doc pages to reflect this change.
