I have similar issue with maybe only one batch of the same looking cheap window sensors. The devices report 1% with brand new battery, but device_class: window

I have the same issue... one of a few TS0203 that I have installed on the house keeps reporting 8% battery level... |

Same for me, for all but one. I don't believe I saw this with ZHA. I did notice the battery contacts on these are pretty poor and do notice the led flickering when enabling pairing - no idea if that is having any impact. |

Same here - I see "battery low = false, voltage 2500mV, which is wrong, the battery is 2944mV , and this 1% did not change even weeks after the battery have been replaced. (it says up to 24hrs.) FWIW: it seems that the battery voltage is reported in 100mV intervals, another one I have, with 3050mV or so, is reporting 2800mV. (so it's always about the nearest 100mV) |

I noticed the same, and confirmed the voltage reading is what is being sent "on the wire" by the door sensors. I've filed a PR to use the same voltage mappings as ZHA. It may not be better (we'll need to see what the last recorded voltage is before batteries are fully dead), but at least new batteries won't show up as 1%: Koenkk/zigbee-herdsman-converters#7681 Also, it appears battery alarms aren't supported by at least three different door sensor models. This was just fixed and should be out in the next zigbee2mqtt release. If you have models that aren't yet in this list, and are thinking the battery low value is not right, the best course of action is to sniff your network with Wireshark for >24 hours and confirm that no battery alarm attribute updates are sent. |

My single device (TS0203, _TZ3000_6zvw8ham) reports as state:

Hello,
I have quite a few TS0203 door sensors around the house, and for some reason that I don't understand they report that their battery voltage is at 2500mV and level is at 1% despite putting a brand new battery 10 days ago. And I measured the battery again, the multimeter says 3V
Here is the state of things:
2 AAA powered -> OK
1 CR2032 powered -> OK
4 CR2032 powered -> 1%
All CR2032 sensors received a new battery 10 days ago
Is that an issue with zigbee2mqtt (I doubt it) or a malfunction in the device themselves?
