Description

A tool that allows the user to create a sheet metal body out of a sketch profile.

Functionality

1. The user selects a sketch profile (typically, this is an un-closed sketch). The sketch resembles the shape of the sheet metal part. The user can usually select individual line segments within a sketch, not just the entire sketch profile.
2. The user inputs three parameters:

• extrude length
• thickness
• bend radius (for mega bonus points, we can populate this off the material selection and thickness)

3. Confirm.
