Currently kasTAS only works on Windows. It would be nice if it'd work on Linux and/or Mac as well.
This would require not relying on winforms for the keyConverter.

Consider OpenTK 4.x. Alternatively, if you "downgrade" to the .NET Framework version of WinForms, it may run under Mono.
