Very similar to #1817 and probably a few others, its certainly the error I have seen most frequently while using CKAN over the years.

Related #1954 and #1952,

Background

CKAN Version:
1.22.6

KSP Version:
1.3.1, but of note is that KSP has not actually been run as yet

Operating System:
W7 HP 64bit

Have you made any manual changes to your GameData folder (i.e., not via CKAN)?
nope

Problem

What steps did you take in CKAN?
Selected a large list of mods to install

What did you expect to happen?
The mods to be downloaded and installed

What happened instead?
some mods were downloaded, none were installed, an error message indicated that there was an error downloading a mod, then subsequent error messages indicated 403 errors forbidding download of those mods. Then the application hung.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

How is this different from #1817?

Different version of the CKAN software, for starters. Different KSP version, although I dont think that matters.

Thanks. If an issue is still open, you can assume that the current version is still affected. Please post updates on #1817 rather than opening new issues.
