Is FiniteDifferences.jl really needed as a dependency? #134

I was just wondering, if FiniteDifferences.jl is really needed as a dependency. I was surprised to see it pulled in while installing the package whose only goal is to define a block diagonal matrix type.

No, it wasn't removed when it should have been in #69. BTW, the dependency on ChainRulesCore can probably moved to a pkg extension.
