Hi there,

I tried to set it up on a new OS build on MBA 13 M2, but keep getting "cannot open" "damaged" error. (I'll upload a screenshot when I get access to the new laptop later)

I attempted to manually assign permission to the app as per the readme; no luck. I haven't tried to build the app from source - on my todo list.

Thought I'd check if it's a me issue, or Jitouch no longer supports macOS Sonoma? If the latter, any plan of support?

Thanks in advance.

Did you manage to make it work? I was about to install Sonoma, but I don't want to lose Jitouch.

I haven't installed Sonoma yet, but plan to perhaps next weekend, and I can confirm if Jitouch works for me then, or see if fixes are needed.

When do you get the "cannot open" error? Is it on running the installer? Perhaps Sonoma has added some additional signature check and I will need to change the installer build process again...

@horaciochacon @aaronkollasch My current status:

  • Jitouch installed on macOS Ventura, then upgrade os to Sonoma: Jitouch works
  • Jitouch fresh install on macOS Sonoma: Jitouch doesn't work

I haven't got around to fix the fresh install yet. If you are to upgrade, it should work. If anyone has done a fresh install on macOS Sonoma, and managed to make it work. I'd be interested in the procedures.

When you do the fresh install on Sonoma, when do you get an error? Before running the installer, while running, or after running?

For refresh install on Sonoma, the Install was successful (including manual permission assignment as per readme). But no icon on the System Settings menu. While trying to open the prePane from Alfred/Spotlight, the error popped up.

Thanks both! I can also confirm that Jitouch is working without issues updating from Ventura to Sonoma.

MacbookPro M3 MAX。There are no difference to procedures, the same as Ventura.

MacBookPro M3 Pro, got it working.
After initial install I saw it in the systems settings, got a prompt but could only allow system settings the permission of accessibility. After an additional install (unsure if it did anything) I went to the settings pane and toggled it OFF/ON. THEN I got a prompt to allow access, this time JiTouch was there. After granting permission, it seems to be working! 🎉

@shtareer this sounds like a separate issue if only the trackpad isn't working. Could you open a new issue for it? Thanks
