v2.4 - Dead development tree, version number skipped.
v2.2 - Removed the seperator between LastCommand and Options
v2.1 - Removed "Check Out". The check out script has been depricated. The max #filePostOpen callback script handles
all Check Out commands now.
v2.0 - Added new Version Control menu to Max's main menu bar.
v1.41 - Changed the variable names to follow the programming guidelines.
v1.4 - Changed name from "SCIO_Menus" to "VersionControl_Menus". All "Source Control" and "SC" references changed to "Version Control and "VC"
v1.3 - Copyright information added.
v1.2 - Initial release.
AddNew.ms
v2.52 - Updated so the VC* calls to global functions are now VersionControlLib.VC* calls
as that library has properly been made a struct with local functions.
v2.51 - Fixed variable scope on the rltGetDescription dialog. Improper scope was causing the scripts to break on Max 4.2x.
v2.5 - Added checking for the bVCEnableReset variable to control if the scene is reset or not.
v2.4 - Dead development tree, version number skipped.
v2.31 - Fixed the "ReOpen" code to work properly.
v2.3 - Changed from using the persistent global variables to using P4 fstat to check if the file exists.
Now ghosts any menu commands that are not proper after this script has finished.
v2.2 - Changed all VCSubmitAndReOpen() function calls to VCSubmit() function calls to reflect changes in VersionControlLib.ms
Changed all VCSyncAndCheckOut() function calls to VCSync() function calls to reflect changes in VersionControlLib.ms
Removed the local aMaxVersion array. The script now uses the global version of that array.
v2.1 - Added a section to switch the menu ghost variables to false when the file is added.
Removed the Max4/Max5 codepaths for bitmap discovery. Max 5's function doesn't work as well as my code.
v2.0 - Utilized the VCParseCommandResults & VCWriteCommandResults functions in VersionControlLib.ms to display results of the AddNew to the user.
Removed the two included library files. All functions are now made global when those two files are loaded at startup.
(Max 5 only) Changes the title bar to show the status of the file in Version Control after it has been added.
(Max 5 only) Uses the new usedMaps() command to find all bitmaps. This replaces the node-tree walking code I wrote to
do the same thing. That code is still used if the scripts are run on Max 4.
v1.71 - Changed variable names to follow the programming guidelines.
v1.7 - Changed name from "SaveAsToSourceControl" to "AddNew". All "Source Control" and "SC" references changed to "Version Control
and "VC". Changed function call "ConvertArray" to "LSUtilLib.ConvertArrayDOS2Unix" to reflect the change made in LSUtilLib
v1.6 - Fixed a bug with a misnamed variable that was breaking the script.
v1.5 - Copyright information added.
v1.4 - Switched from storing strMaxFileToEdit and strStartMapsFile in the FileProperties page to storing them in the persistent
global variables, "pg_strMaxFilepath" and, "pg_strMapsFilepath".
v1.3 - Changed the function call "ConvertArrays" to "ConvertArray" to reflect the change made in LSUtilLb.
v1.2 - Initial release.
CheckIn.ms
v2.52 - Updated so the VC* calls to global functions are now VersionControlLib.VC* calls
as that library has properly been made a struct with local functions.
v2.51 - Fixed variable scope on the rltGetDescription dialog. Improper scope was causing the scripts to break on Max 4.2x.
v2.5 - Added checking the bVCEnableReset to control whether max is reset after a check in.
v2.4 - Dead development tree, version number skipped.
v2.31 - Fixed the submit and reopen code so that files were reopened properly and any file that was "revert unchanged" was re-checked out if the user
selects the re-open option.
v2.3 - Changed from using the persistent global variables to using P4 fstat to check if the file exists.
Now ghosts any menu commands that are not proper after this script has finished.
v2.2 - Changed all VCSubmitAndReOpen() function calls to VCSubmit() function calls.
Removed the local aMaxVersion array. The script now uses the global version of that array.

"pg_strMaxFilepath" and, "pg_strMapsFilePath". Moved, "bExit" and, "aNewPathnames" from global to local variables.
v1.6 - Changed the function call "ConvertArrays" to "ConvertArray" to reflect the change made in LSUtilLb.
v1.5 - Fixed a bug that prevented the script from completing if the user answered "yes" to, the "Would you like to reopen..." dialog.
v1.4 - Initial release.
Revert.ms
v2.52 - Updated so the VC* calls to global functions are now VersionControlLib.VC* calls
as that library has properly been made a struct with local functions.
Brought version number in line with the other tools in this package.
v2.5 - If bVCEditTextures is enabled (e.g. textures checked out) Revert will know to revert them also.
v2.4 - Dead development tree, version number skipped.
v2.3 - Changed file check to use VCGetFileStats() instead of relying on the temp files on the harddisk.
v2.2 - Converted back to my bitmap finding functions for all max versions. The new functions in Max5 aren't as robust.
v2.1 - Added a section to switch the menu ghost variables to flase when the file is added.
v2.0 - Utilized the VCParseCommandResults & VCWriteCommandResults functions in VersionControlLib.ms to display results of the Revert to the user.

v1.2 - Resetting the peristent global variables, "pg_strMaxFilepath" and, "pg_strMapsFilepath" at the end of the script.
v1.1 - Initial release.
View.ms
v2.52 - Updated so the VC* calls to global functions are now VersionControlLib.VC* calls
as that library has properly been made a struct with local functions.
Brought version number in line with the other tools in this package.
v2.5 - Fixed a bug with regards to VCSync() being passed an incorrect number of parameters.
v2.4 - Dead development tree, version number skipped.
v2.3 - Reworked to use P4 fstat to check status of a file. This is much more fault tolerant than the old "temp file on hard disk" setup.
v2.2 - Renamed all VCSyncAndCheckOut() functions to VCSync() to relfect the update in VersionControlLib.ms
Removed the local aMaxVersion array. The script now uses the global version of that array.
v2.1 - Changed back from seperate Max R4/R5 bitmap discovery code paths to a unified code path. Max R5's usedMaps()
function isn't as thorough as mine.
v2.0 - Utilized the VCParseCommandResults & VCWriteCommandResults functions in VersionControlLib.ms to display results of the View to the user.
Removed the two included library files. All functions are now made global when those two files are loaded at startup.
(Max 5 only) Changes the title bar to show the status of the file in Version Control after it has been loaded.
(Max 5 only) Uses the new usedMaps() command to find all bitmaps. This replaces the node-tree walking code I wrote to
do the same thing. That code is still used if the scripts are run on Max 4.
v1.41 - Changed the variable names to follow the programming guidelines.
v1.4 - Changed name from "ViewFromSourceControl" to "View". All "Source Control" and "SC" references changed to "Version Control and "VC"
v1.3 - Copyright information added.
v1.2 - Initial release.
VersionControlLib.ms
v2.52 - Changed this from a collection of global variables and functions to a proper library struct/namespace with private members and public members.
v2.51 - Fixed variable scope on the queryAllBox dialog. Improper scope was causing the scripts to break on Max 4.2x.
v2.5 - Added the bVCEnableReset and bVCEditTextures global variables. Changed the postFileOpen callback function to use those variables.
v2.4 - Dead development tree, version number skipped.
v2.32 - Fixed a typo bug in VCSubmit that was preventing the reopen option from working.
v2.31 - Fixed a bug in the code initialization code.
v2.3 - Added the VCMenuDefault function and callback mechanism. This sets the VC menu items back to their default ghost/unghost states after a Max reset.
Removed all dependencies on the stored disk files and persistent global variables for sanity checking what was checked out. P4 fstat is now used for that.
Added the VCGetClientInfo() function. The scripts are now cognizent of the user defined in the client spec. If no user name is found it
is assumed that either the client spec is invalid or Perforce is not installed. In that instance the user will be alerted to the fact that no client spec exists,
the #PostFileOpen callback script will be disabled and version control menu entries will be ghosted.
Added the bEnableAddNew and bEnableView global variables so that menu ghosting can be controlled.
v2.2 - Depreciated VCSubmitAndReopen(). VCSubmit() now handles a reopen condition based on the bReOpen input boolean variable.
Renamed VCSyncAndCheckOut() to VCSync(), since it is generally a sync function with the check-out being conditionally controlled.
Made aMaxVersion a global array since so many scripts in this package are using it.
v2.1 - Depricated VCSync(). Made VCSyncAndCheckOut() do an optional check out instead.
The codepaths were so similar it makes it easier to maintain this way.
Rewrote VCSyncAndOpen() to respect the user's wishes on working on a version < the lastest.
Added the bEnableCheckIn and bEnableRevert global variables so that menu ghosting can be controlled.
Added a section to the VCOpenFileCheck() function to switch the variables to true when the file is loaded.
Added a check to the VCOpenFileCheck() callback function so that it would not try to check the maxstart.max file.
This allows users to set up default max UI layouts without getting a Version Control error when they load.
Changed code paths in VCOpenFileCheck(). Removed the seperate code paths for bitmap finding. Max 5's "usedMaps()"
function does not operate as well as my functions (e.g. It misses some maps). I've gone back to just using
my functions.
v2.0 - Renamed to LSVersionControlLib.ms
Added the VCParseCommandResults & VCWriteCommandResults functions. This allows for Perforce to report back what tasks it has accomplished.
Added VCOpenFileCheck. This callback function checks all opened max files to see if they are in version control.
Changed lib to load into memory at startup and made all functions global.
Added VCCleanup function. This deletes all necessary temp files on the HD and displays the command result.
v1.91 - Changed all global string variables to local string variables. Renamed variabled prefixes to match coding guidelines.
v1.9 - Changed all instances of "SC" to "VC" to reflect the renaming of the package to "Version Control"
v1.8 - SCAdd function adds binary files in exclusive mode now. Exclusive mode files can only be checked out by one person at a time.
v1.7 - Added SCGetFileStats function to prevent file from being checked out twice.
v1.6 - Copyright information added.
v1.5 - Initial release.
