Hi,

I recently bought a BeNext Tag Reader 500 to use in combination with the Homey. Unfortunately one out of three arm/disarm events fail with presenting a rfid tag. First I thought it was the distance between the Tag Reader and the Homey, but even when the Tag Reader is next to the Homey I get the same behaviour.

When I look at the Z-Wave network on the https://developer.athom.com page, I see that the Tag Reader is creating a lot of "Tx Errors", even when the Tag reader is not actively used (idle) (see print screen)

I have the Tag Reader in Mode 1, Gateway mode and Gateway confirmation is enabled

I hope you can help me,

Thanks,
Frank Bakermans

I never got this to work reliable with Homey. Since my comment it has been running icw Domoticz and the http app with not a single fail.

DieterKoblenz, thanks for the quick answer. I will send the device back to the supplier and look for alternative solution on Homey as i don't want an extra controller.

Do you still have the issue?

Haven't tested, since the app is/wasn't compatible with the new Homey version.
