/plot area single not creating the plot area

Describe the bug

When trying to set plot areas in a non plotsquared world via /plot area single <name> the chat will say the plot has been made, but then doing /plot info or /plot area info it says You're not in a plot

To Reproduce

1. Select a pos1 and pos2 with world edit
2. run command /plot area single plotname
3. Plugin says The area was created successfully!
4. /plot area info, /plot info, /plot claim say you're not in a plot

Expected behaviour

After running /plot area single plotname the plot should actually be created and you can get info on it or claim it

An update, I noticed sometimes if i reboot the sever a plot will be made, but never all of them. if I try and make a bunch of plots(which fail as the video above) then reboot the server sometimes a single plot will be made
