As reported by user:

A bug must have creeped in relation to the removal of the outlier tagging function. In the new version there are grey outlier copy points for every outlier value in the plots. So for every outlier there is a grey point in continuation of the box whiskers. This is unfortunate as I think it really disturbs the plots as one might mistakenly think that there are twice as many outliers as there actually are.
I have tried to remove them with the outlier.shape = NA, but it doesn't remove them.

Regression introduced in 0.11.1
