Starting the app without internet, and then re-connecting doesn't fetch any data

Description
When the app is started without internet an error message displays. But if the internet is connected after that, it doesn't make the error message go away and load the app content.

Expected behaviour
Either there shall be some sort of a refresh/retry button or the app should automatically fetch data when internet is available
