Font / background colors differ between mobile and desktop versions

Dear users,

While customising the wowchemy template, I noticed that the desktop version and the mobile version of the website differ. In particular, I am not getting the right colors in the mobile version: the background on the homepage matches between versions, but on the posts, the color for the mobile version is different. Moreover, the color of the text in the mobile version is white instead of dark grey. I was wondering where can I change background color / font color for the mobile version?

Automatic light/dark mode is based on your system/device preferences. Have you seen the docs on how to disable light mode? https://wowchemy.com/docs/getting-started/customization/#appearance

I know that I can disable the light/dark mode switch, I thought that would disable the dark mode from the template I'm using (minimal). Do I also need to delete [dark] and all the parameters from the minimal.toel file?

to force your visitors to see either a light or dark theme, set only a day or night theme, but not both.

For example, for a dark only site:
