Local hugo server trouble shooting

Hello everyone,

I'm having trouble getting started with running the hugo server on my local machine.
I have just made a fresh copy of the starter-academic repository (using the create site link on the wowchemy website). The site builds and deploys fine on netlify but I can't get the hugo server to run on my local machine. I tried the troubleshooting advice on the wowchemy website but no luck. I've pasted the terminal output that I'm getting below.

Error: Error building site: "C:\Users\lizi2\Desktop\python_reptile_practice\hugo_build_my_website\my_website_local\my_website\themes\starter-academic-master\content\authors\admin\_index.md:77:1": failed to extract shortcode: template for shortcode "icon" not found

my hugo version： v0.80.0/extended windows/amd64
