Attach tickets to order confirmation mail

A feature request:

Can we make a feature that allows us to attach the ticket(s) to the order confirmation e-mail?

Other ticket systems allow to do so, this helps people to easier saving them to local systems.

Thanks for the feature request!

At the moment, there are no plans to introduce PDF tickets. The current focus is on adding support for digital wallets like Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, as these provide a smoother, more mobile-friendly experience for attendees.

That said, I would not rule out adding PDF tickets in the future if there’s enough demand or a strong case for it. Interested to hear other people's thoughts

I think the PDF ticket is essential because there are people who buy 4 tickets for friends and then send each ticket separately to each friend because not everyone goes to the event together to enter.

As an event organizer (and having been to a lot of events using different ticket systems with groups of friends), I agree with this. The order summary page looks great, but it isn't ideal for sharing. Sending everyone individual links instead of sharing a conventional PDF file is a trade-off between convenience and accessibility. While links allow for dynamic updates and interactivity, a PDF offers a more universally shareable and offline-accessible format.

@robemorata @StevenWNET doesn't Google Wallet already allow you to share event tickets anyways? Even if a user does not have google wallet.

100% true, but user adoption of Google Wallet hasn't really taken off in the real world.

I've never used it, and neither have any of the people I know.

Apple Wallet? Sure – it's great for things like plane tickets. But most users still seem to prefer conventional methods for sharing tickets.
