I would compare the Jupiter reflection spectrum (w/ clouds) with real spectra, using the flux adding two-stream radiative transfer.

I published the target, i.e. high-res Jupiter spectra as observed by Subaru/HDS, at https://github.com/HajimeKawahara/jovispec

ch4_vs_solar

This is the target spectrum, CH4 band in 7250AA. This absorption band is also considered as one of the target features of gas giant spectroscopy by Roman-CGI.
