Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple steps.

Prerequisites

Installation

  1. Clone this repo to your local machine using

    git clone https://github.com/Grandpere/O-Children-API.git
  2. Install composer dependencies

    composer install
  3. Copy .env to .env.local or create one

    cp .env .env.local
  4. Update DATABASE_URL in this file with your credentials informations

    DATABASE_URL=mysql://YOUR_USER:YOUR_PASSWORD@127.0.0.1:3306/YOUR_DBNAME`
    
  5. Create database with Doctrine

    php bin/console doctrine:database:create
  6. Make migrations

    php bin/console doctrine:migration:migrate
  7. Loading fixtures

    php bin/console doctrine:fixtures:load
  8. Generate keys for JWT

    mkdir -p config/jwt # For Symfony3+, no need of the -p option
    openssl genrsa -out config/jwt/private.pem -aes256 4096
    openssl rsa -pubout -in config/jwt/private.pem -out config/jwt/public.pem

  9. Configure JWT

    ⚠️ put your pass_phrase (previous step) in .env.local to be able generate token
