Can't type the letter 'g'

I don't know why, but I can't type a lower-case 'g' into scrcpy (Pixel 7 amdroid 14 Mac host). i can type an upper case 'G' using either shift or caps lock

Execute scrcpy -Vverbose. What's in the console when you type g or G?

I'm having difficulty making the symptom reappear using the same system and keyboard. If it does I'll try to run it in verbose mode
