WebSockets don't work if screen is off

This may be a limitation of Android.

All functions of app appear to work in background mode except for Websockets.
This should not affect the operation of alarm, but for logging to an external server the screen needs to be set to never turn off.
I currently just set screen brightness to lowest and leave tablet face down.
