Whenever I have a floating window, I would like it to stay persistent on my desktop no matter what I do with my other tiling windows (like a sticky note), or unless minimized. Unfortunately, I do not see a way to do this other than manually setting every floating window to always be on top. This makes it very annoying when a popup, or installer window, or other task I am waiting to finish gets hidden in the background when I click the window I was working on before. [...]
Describe the solution you'd like
Option for floating windows to be set as "always on top" until minimized. Will resume "always on top" when maximized.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I need to look into the builtin scripting to see if I can do this myself.

I would like to see this too. This is present in all official tiling window managers as there is no reason for a floating window to be hidden beneath tiled windows.
