We generally try not to assume any files on S3/Minio are only referenced there. However, for import configs there's an entry in the database referring to e.g. the properties file. If this file doesn't exist for some reason the UI/batch UI doesn't handle it gracefully and throws a bunch of nasty JS errors our way.
