vscode treats them as regex but they're actually raw strings

The upstream issue related to it seems to be : MagicStack/MagicPython#259

magicpython seems to be abandoned, so i raised an issue about replacing it on the vscode repo microsoft/pylance-release#5824 (which they unfortunately transferred to pylance's issue tracker, so we still might need to fix it ourselves depending on whatever their solution is)
