It would be great if the testers can test the behaviour of the tool when the annotated-page server is down, restarted or shut-down, the page has been removed, or there is a redirection. Still, we must be able to get the list of all annotations connected with it, and have access to the cached representations. Or is it tested already?

Sending request "find annotations for this link" is independent on the status of the web-page's server. The client anyway has an access to the database and can have the list of all necessary annotations and therefore to get the cached representation. However it seems that the wired-marker waits for the respond of the web-page server before asking the backend server.

I found in my list one annotated-page (annotation date 2014/06/25), which is removed for now. DWAN can find it out and I can see the relevant annotation.
