Use FF 32.0.2 on Maverick, or FF 33.0.1 on Mountain Lion (10.8.5).

With FF 33.0.1 on Maverick the client friezes right mouse click (which you use on an annotation in the list to get its properties, or in the document when making an annotation). It happens after the first use of right mouse click, e.g. when accessing properties of annotation or making an annotation.

FF 33.0.1 and Windows 8.1 is a good combination for the client as well.
