Leaving some more info/feedback here as requested on Twitter 😄

With respect to my own PRs:

  • If possible, it'd be nice to have these new Guard APIs be included in 6.1 as well. It's just a couple of APIs I missed in the initial PR, plus the .NET Standard 2.1 target with some attributes. All tests passing, the PR is ready for review and up do date with master.
  • Once the HighPerformance package is merged, I plan to make those two additional PRs I mentioned. One is just with a couple new APIs (those lookup indexers I mentioned a while back), the other adding multi-targeting to .NET Core 2.1/3.1 and UWP, and some refactoring. It'd be nice to have both merged in for 6.1, especially because the one with multi-targeting will help avoid issues for users using the package on runtimes like Mono.
  • The FontIcon extensions should be ready for review and good to go now, only missing the documentation, which I'm going to write right now and submit a PR for.

Hope this helps, looking forward to the stream! 😊🚀

EDIT: side note, should we use 6.1 to also mark the RadialGradientBrush as Obsolete since it's now available out of the box in WinUI 2.4? Just to point new users towards that one instead 🤔

EDIT 2: opened a docs PR for the FontIconExtension(s), ready for review now 👍

#3205/#3206 is for 7.0.0. It definitely is a breaking change.
