Currently ClickHouse Connect support client side parameter binding/substitution. We want to move that responsibility to the ClickHouse server using https://clickhouse.com/docs/en/interfaces/http/#cli-queries-with-parameters. This improves security against SQL Injection attacks and may in time allow better "prepared statement" functionality and query optimization on the server side.
