Also aware that having a lot of cores/threads makes the graphical part a pain to use. Current (quite sloppily IMO) solution is that you can disable some cores to see specific ones, but I would assume that if you're using as many as 40, that's going to be a pain.
The way that bashtop seems to do their individual CPU displays seems interesting... might take a page from their books.

bashtop might have some interesting "widgets" that would look nice:

For example the CPU section. With bottom on a node with 40 CPUs, the current graphical section, is useless.
