I would like to start a discussion regarding the Provider to Bloc migration issue #215 of the Flood Flutter app. As you all know, Flood is a popular open-source torrent client that has been written in Flutter using the Provider package for state management.
Recently, there has been a lot of interest in migrating from Provider to Bloc for state management in the Flood app. While Provider has been a great package for managing state, some developers feel that Bloc might be a better fit for the complexity and scale of the Flood app.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this topic. Have you used Bloc for state management in a Flutter app before? What are the benefits of using Bloc over Provider? Are there any drawbacks or challenges that we should be aware of before making the switch?
I believe that this discussion could be very valuable for the Flood community, as we work together to make the app even better. Let's share our experiences and insights, and work towards a better, more efficient way of managing state in Flood.
Thank you in advance for your participation in this discussion.
