With the latest (4.0.10) code, tweak the version to be less than 4.0.10, rebuild and run. When the pop-up shows saying "Version 4.0.10 is now available. Download it?", click either Yes or No and the program crashes (after outputting WARNING : QObject::setParent: Cannot set parent, new parent is in a different thread ).
